Nursing Live was the first of it's kind to take place in Liverpool, hosted at the ACC in Liverpool on Albert Dock on Friday 10th, and Saturday 11th November. The event was created to attract and bring healthcare professionals from all over England, Scotland, and Wales.

The exhibition offered a range of opportunities such as networking with qualified and unqualified peers within their sector, registering with new employers and seeking further job opportunities, learning new skills and technology through industry-specific seminars, purchasing resources, and gaining self-care guidance.

The event was comprised of six different zones, which categorised exhibitors by the services they were showcasing on the day, these were:

  • Learning and development

  • Medical Devices and Products

  • Digital and Tech

  • Careers

  • Pharmaceuticals

  • Health and Wellbeing

Over the course of the two days of exhibiting, individuals from our healthcare division attended the event to connect and discover healthcare professionals. Our workforce spent time at the stand (CA42) offering newly registered candidates useful equipment, showcasing career opportunities with our agency, and networking with existing candidates and clients.

Within the healthcare industry, we recruit from five different sectors, these include,

  • General Health Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, District Nurses, Theatre and Surgical Nurses, A&E/Emergency Nurses.

  • Mental Health Registered Nurses, ADHD & Autism, Neuro Specific Roles, Learning Disability Support Workers

  • Substance Misuse Prison Nurses, Support Workers, Non- Medical Prescribers, Service Managers/ Team Leaders

  • Psychological Therapies Counsellors and CBT Therapists, Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychologists, Psychiatrists

  • Primary Care Doctors, Practice Nurses, Practice Managers, Paramedics, General Practitioners

Callum, our Divisional Manager of our Primary Care and Substance Misuse team said,

The Nursing Live event was excellent. The opportunity to talk to front-line workers and soak up industry knowledge first-hand was priceless. It was also an amazing and rare chance for us to connect with some of our clients face to face and start new relationships with people we would have no other way of speaking to.

Post-pandemic it has been difficult to connect with people and this event gave all attendees the opportunity to really capitalise on human contact. The event itself was extremely diverse with nurses and healthcare professionals from all over the country operating in different sectors. The team and I are already making plans for the next one.”

Jamie Paul, our Divisional Lead, added “As a Recruiter, having the opportunity to offer support whilst providing information on the various routes to placements and employment prospects, was an extremely fulfilling experience. It was fantastic to contribute to such an event and I wish all attendees the best of luck with the next step in their career path.”
