About Callum

What does your day-to-day role involve?

To support the team daily and ensure we are always pushing or new opportunities and capitalising on what we can. I see myself as more of a coach and mentor rather than a manager, my goal is to help each team member exceed their professional goals.

Give us a brief overview of your professional background...#

I spent nearly 10 years in an estate agency and held down every role from trainee negotiator to Head of Business Development at 2 well-known estate agency companies. I achieved all I set out to achieve in property, so I made the leap into recruitment. I started my recruitment career with an entry level position and built a very successful desk of over 90 clients across 250 sites with over 100 candidates outworking. My leadership skills were recognised and I was given a team of 9 recruitment consultants to look after and coach. I found that after just over 3 years I had achieved all I could with that company, so I moved to a huge recruitment company in Manchester for a new challenge. Only 5 months into that role I was approached by SCS and here we are!

If you weren't working in recruitment, what would you be doing?

I am passionate about what I am doing now, and I have my eyes firmly placed on success here so it's difficult to see myself doing anything else. If I had to say 1 thing it would probably be developing my property portfolio full-time.

Using only 3 words, how would you describe Service Care?

-Ambitious

-Knowledgeable

-Family

What's your favourite quote/piece of advice you've ever been given?

Never has there been a man or woman perform as well under criticism as they have praise.

Lastly, when you're not at work, where can we find you?

On the golf course or with my fiancé and daughter at a soft play centre……..AGAIN!
