Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician to join our team near Weymouth! While always ensuring high standards of work are maintained, the successful candidate with administer medicines against valid prescriptions as well as working in the dispensary when required. You'll also manage medicine stocks and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Job Type: Band 5/6 Pharmacy Technician

Contract: Temporary

Pay Rate: £35 - £46 per hour LTD (dependent on experience and banding)

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience of working in a pharmacy
  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or equivalent, and registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
  • Ability to work well under pressure, both as a team and individually
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will administer medicines against valid prescriptions, as well as assisting the pharmacist in providing advice about the appropriate use of medicines. You'll also review expiry dates and storage facilities for medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the pharmacist.
