Service Care Solutions are working with Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support an Outpatient Brain Injury service in the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will work as part of the Interdisciplinary Team and provide support to Adults of All Ages with a range of Neurological conditions including Acquired Brain Injury.
The contract duration is for 3 months with the likelihood of extension. This is a full-time placement with 37.5 hours available. Part-time applications of 3 Days or more will also be considered.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £25.00 p/h LTD
Bonus: £250 Sign-Up Bonus
Job Purpose - Band 6 Occupational Therapist
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals. The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in a variety of community and outpatient neuro services and geographies. This may require flexibility working across pathways, dependent on skill and service need.
- Delivering a high quality clinical service to patients and their families.
- Care coordination of an identified caseload where appropriate with access to regular and robust supervision.
- Delivering occupational therapy interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing neurological related difficulties.
