Role summary -

This company is seeking a highly motivated Business Support Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organisation. They will be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and providing support with fire alarm testing. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for taking minutes of meetings, invoicing, purchase ordering, updating internal training matrix, managing repairs, printing and sending letters, booking vehicles into services, and liaising with transport for stationary ordering. This is a temporary position with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls
  • Greeting visitors and signing them in
  • Supporting with fire alarm testing with designated Fire Warden
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Invoicing and purchase ordering
  • Updating internal training matrix
  • Managing repairs
  • Printing and sending letters
  • Booking vehicles into services and liaising with transport for stationary ordering


  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
