Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Support Officer to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Finance Business Support Officer
Location: Nottinghamshire  
Rate: £12.85 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ 15.82per hour (Umbrella/LTD)
Contract: 3 months on going.
Working: Full-time, On-site

Role Overview:
  • Support the procurement of goods and services by raising purchase orders and accurately entering data into BMS/SAP systems
  • Managing invoice approvals, resolving payment queries, and liaising with departments and vendors.
  • Raise purchase orders and input data into BMS/SAP
  • Monitor team inbox and manage own worklist
  • Resolve order/payment issues and chase invoice approvals
  • Input travel claim payments into Excel
  • Ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and follow business support processes
  • Strong numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Organised, methodical, and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently and within a team
