Hi all, I'm currently recruiting for a CHC Administrator Position in a healthcare setting. Please apply for more details.

Hours - 37.5 Hours Per week
Rates - 10.20- 11.00 PAYE Per hour
Location - Birmingham

* To receive CHC funding applications into the ICB
* Preparation of applications completed by nurse assessors for weekly CHC Ratification Panel
* To obtain patient records for weekly Ratification Panel when requested, obtaining additional information from various sources e.g. GPs, Hospitals, Nursing Homes etc.
* Send CHC information to patients and families upon request
* To receive telephone calls from Health Care professionals, general public and other personnel in professional manner, cascading on to the relevant staff as required
* Arrange and facilitate meetings as required.
* Ensure that general office supply levels are monitored

Analytical and judgement skills
* Arrange and facilitate meetings for the CHC department as require as required to include venue booking, diary management electronic meeting requests

Communication and relationship skills
* Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing, with partner agencies and members of the public
* To provide advice and support to the general public, NHS colleagues and the Local Authority regarding CHC
* Be able to sign-post the general public to relevant services
* Must be able to effectively work as part of a team, maintaining good working relationships with team members
* Act as a point of contact for the Continuing Healthcare Team, responding appropriately to patients, general enquiries from the public, internal/external colleagues and taking action where necessary upon sensitive and complex information received
* Be able to provide administrative cover for colleagues during staff absences ensuring business continuity
