This is a rare and exciting opportunity due to the planned retirement of the current Registered Manager. The home is currently rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and provides care for 5 young females, with a particular focus on supporting those affected by CSE.
You’ll benefit from a structured handover alongside the outgoing manager, ensuring you are set up for success and fully supported in the transition.
Role: Registered Home Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonuses (OTE £70k+ in Year 1)
Bonus: 5k Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Performance Bonus
Annual Leave: 32 days including Bank Holidays

🌟 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a consistently high standard of care.
- Provide strong, trauma-informed leadership to staff and young people alike.
- Manage referrals, local authority engagement, and multi-agency working.
- Maintain the home’s Outstanding Ofsted rating, with full regulatory compliance.
- Mentor, supervise and professionally develop your team.
- Oversee budgeting, safeguarding, care planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience managing children’s residential homes.
- Proven success leading Ofsted inspections.
- Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and CSE support.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaborative working skills.
- £50,000 - £55,000 salary (DOE)
