Job Description

Location: Salford & Stockport
Salary: £12.50 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Hours: 2 on / 4 off rota | Approx. 160 hours per month
Driver’s Licence: Preferred but not essential

We’re looking for Children’s Residential Support Workers to join a passionate and dedicated team supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs. Based in high-quality residential homes across Salford and Stockport, you’ll be part of a team creating safe, stable and nurturing environments that allow young people to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supporting children aged 8–18 with complex needs, helping them build confidence, independence, and brighter futures

  • Promoting daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and social development

  • Assisting with activities, appointments, education, and day-to-day care

  • Creating a homely, structured, and therapeutic environment

  • Maintaining accurate records and working in line with safeguarding policies

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working in a care or support setting (ideally with children or young people)

  • Resilient, empathetic, and driven to make a difference

  • Comfortable working 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins on a rolling rota

  • A driver’s licence is preferred but not essential
