Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Officer in Tower Hamlets.
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Commissioning Officer to join the Ageing Well Team. Sitting within the Health, Adults & Communities Directorate, this critical role focuses on home care commissioning for adults aged 18+ across the borough.
Pay rate - £24.35 PAYE / £31.79 Umbrella per day
Main Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Officer you will be responsible for:
- Support commissioning and contract management of adult home care services.
- Monitor and manage provider performance, ensuring services meet residents' needs.
- Develop creative, outcome-focused commissioning solutions.
- Liaise with internal teams, providers, and external partners to maintain high standards of service.
- Promote the implementation of the Ethical Care Charter and other quality frameworks.
- Assist in managing market risk and compliance with CQC and other regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of social care provision and service user needs.
- Familiarity with the role of the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Solid understanding of adult social care policy, processes, and best practices.
