Job title: Communications and Marketing Executive
Location: Hybrid / Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 (minimum 2 days in office)
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term
Hours: 37 per week (Mon–Thurs 8:45–5:15, Fri 8:45–4:45)
Salary: £36,000 per annum

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Marketing Executive to support the delivery of key internal and external campaigns. This is a varied, creative role where you’ll contribute to a wide range of projects, helping to bring organisational values and messages to life across multiple channels.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you’ll help shape and deliver the annual communications and marketing strategy, supporting campaigns that matter to both customers and staff.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate communications campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Write and edit engaging content for websites, intranets, press releases, social media, and printed materials
  • Support internal departments with campaign planning and messaging
  • Contribute to website content, user experience, and updates
  • Liaise with media on low-level enquiries and help manage press engagement
  • Coordinate internal and external events, marketing materials, and induction support
  • Work with external agencies (e.g., designers, photographers) to support creative delivery
  • Monitor and report on campaign and channel performance using analytics and feedback
  • Participate in an out-of-hours communications rota (approx. one weekend per month, with TOIL)
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Experience in a communications or marketing role, ideally in a corporate or public sector setting
  • Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engage diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and basic design/editing (e.g., Canva, Adobe)
  • Confidence working with internal stakeholders and media contacts
  • Knowledge of communications strategy and audience segmentation
  • Basic understanding of data/analytics (e.g., web or intranet performance)
  • A proactive, flexible team player with excellent time management
Desirable:
  • Experience working in a regulated or housing environment
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hotjar, or intranet analytics
  • Confident using design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva)
  • Project management or campaign coordination experience
