Job title – Communications And Marketing Officer
Location – Bradford , BD5  
Contract – Temporary  
Hours – Full time 37 hours per week,

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Communications and Marketing Officer to join a busy and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident in media relations, has a strong editorial eye, and can deliver impactful content across channels to raise profile and engagement.

You’ll be responsible for proactive media outreach, content development, and shaping key messages across digital and traditional platforms. This is a hands-on role with a focus on storytelling, collaboration, and strategic communications.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead on media relations and outreach, securing high-impact coverage across key publications
  • Research, write, and edit press releases, articles, and features that tell the organisation’s story in a fresh and engaging way
  • Ensure consistency of tone and message across all channels, including websites and intranets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and partner organisations to develop meaningful case studies
  • Support the delivery of campaigns that reflect the impact and values of the organisation

Key Requirements:
 
  • Proven experience in PR, media relations, or a similar communications-focused role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong grasp of tone and audience
  • Confident writing press releases and crafting stories that cut through
  • Strong digital literacy including familiarity with websites, intranet platforms, and social media
  • Collaborative and organised, able to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
