Contracts Manager

Job Description

Our client, a housing association based in Newbury are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their team. This is on an ongoing temporary contract.

The main purpose of the role is to provide operational contract performance management for a portfolio of allocated contracts by appropriately monitoring contractor progress and performance to agreed service quality and budget.

You'll provide advice when new contracts are procured to ensure contracts are fit for purpose and carry out site inspections to determine scope of works in order to develop project briefs. Strong communication, negotiating and problem solving skills are therefore essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Previous experience of contract management, ideally within a Housing Association.
