Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a part time Crisis Recovery Worker in Barnstaple, Devon.
A private mental health organisation with strong links to the NHS are recruiting for a Crisis Recovery Worker to work within their community service, a safe haven, offering to support referrals and walk in patients.
Temporary/Permanent Contracts: flexible up to 20 hours per week
Pay Rates: £21,833 Pro Rata - 6pm - 12 am midnight
Temporary Rates - £11.64 ph Ltd
Location - Barnstaple, Devon

Role:
To work for a nationwide private mental health recovery organisation in delivery support to patients with mental health issues. You will be working within a experienced team to achieve the targets of the Haven, a mental health drop in service, delivering the highest standard of care. Methods and strategies are be used to provide solutions to maximise the patient's state of mental health, ultimately deescalating those who are in mental distress. In being reactive and proactive in your approach, you will work with people needing immediate support then reporting and working in line with relevant health authorities allowing for future recovery.

Candidate:

  • NVQ Lvl 3 in Health & Social Care is an essential requirement.
  • Experience in de-escalation and crisis recovery.
  • Experience of working in a social care setting, or prior mental health support experience.
  • Great interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
  • Understanding principles of Care and Mental Health Act.
  • Knowledge of data management systems needed to interpret data and write reports for service management.
