Location - Loughborough LE11

Contract - Sept 2024

Hours - 20

Role summary - This company is seeking three part-time Customer Service Advisors to join their team to handle enquiries from the public. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing information and advice in a busy customer service environment, preferably over the phone. The role requires excellent communication and listening skills, as well as the ability to handle a range of situations with tact, diplomacy, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by handling enquiries from the public
  • Converse with all types of people with a polite and courteous attitude
  • Handle a range of situations with tact, diplomacy and empathy
  • Work well under pressure with a minimum of supervision while ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Be proficient in the use of software systems, with good keyboard skills

Requirements:

  • Recent experience of providing information and advice to the public in a busy customer service environment, preferably telephone based
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer care
  • Experience of working in front-line council services would be an advantage
  • Full training will be provided
