Join our Client's Housing Partnership as a Health and Safety Administrative Support. Manage the Health and Safety System, assist with compliance contracts, and contribute to meetings and training coordination. Utilize administrative expertise for effective reporting, compliance controls, and investigations. Essential skills include administrative experience, Health and Safety knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft tools. Be a crucial part of ensuring a safe and compliant environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer the Health and Safety Management System for our client's Housing Partnership
  • Assist in running compliance and Health and Safety contracts, projects, and programs.
  • Plan, resource, and minute Health and Safety-related meetings.
  • Provide performance indicators, reports, and maintain relevant data and systems.
  • Research and coordinate Health and Safety training activities.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues.
  • Perform risk assessments and contribute to effective compliance controls.
  • Monitor dashboards and support Compliance, Health & Safety Manager with projects.
  • Provide administrative support to Compliance, Health & Safety Manager.

Essential:

  • Proven administrative support experience, including minute-taking.
  • Experience in a Health and Safety environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel) and other relevant tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused approach and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

Desirable:.

  • Data handling and usage training for Google Sheets and online systems.
  • Admin training in financial support, e.g., creating purchase orders, paying invoices.
  • Qualification in a related Compliance or H&S area is desirable.
  • Understanding of key Health and Safety areas such as workstation assessments, asbestos, and fire safety.
