Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Children’s Home Deputy Manager in Wellingborough.
 
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and help manage our Children's Home, ensuring high standards of care and support for young people in our service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
 
Main Responsibilities
 
As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for:
 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Home, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations.
  • Promote the safeguarding and welfare of young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Liaise with external agencies and departments to ensure young people receive appropriate care plans and support in their rehabilitation.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff, fostering a high-performing team and a culture of care, equality, and diversity.
  • Assist with budget preparation and manage home budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Ensure the home remains compliant with all relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, offering support to the Children’s Home as needed.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Professional qualification in Social Work or QCF Level 3.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a residential care setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of residential care experience.
  • A valid Full Driving License.
