Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Children’s Home Deputy Manager in Wellingborough.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and help manage our Children's Home, ensuring high standards of care and support for young people in our service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
Main Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager you will be responsible for:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Children’s Home, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Promote the safeguarding and welfare of young people, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
- Liaise with external agencies and departments to ensure young people receive appropriate care plans and support in their rehabilitation.
- Provide leadership and supervision to staff, fostering a high-performing team and a culture of care, equality, and diversity.
- Assist with budget preparation and manage home budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure the home remains compliant with all relevant legislative and contractual requirements.
- Participate in the on-call rota, offering support to the Children’s Home as needed.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Social Work or QCF Level 3.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in a residential care setting.
- Minimum 1 year of residential care experience.
- A valid Full Driving License.
