Rate: £28 umbrella an hour (£21 PAYE an hour)
Lewisham Council are looking for an Early Help Coordinator to join their MASH Team. This role is a non-case holding role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training and scaffolding support to professionals across the partnership.
- To develop, facilitate and coordinate working relationships and partnerships with a range of front-line staff and managers
- Coordinate multi agency support across services to meet the needs of vulnerable children, young people and families by providing information advice and guidance to professionals
- Use negotiating and influencing skills to identify and enable different agencies to undertake lead professional responsibilities
- Undertake reviews of FARPs to ensure that progress is occurring to plan and timescales
- Deliver and design training and support to local practitioners
Requirements:
- An understanding of the spectrum of early help services and be able to guide/match the family to appropriate services based on information presented by referrer/family
- Experience working as a Family Practitioner within an early help service
- NVQ level 4 gained in a setting associated with children or young people and families or substantial professional experience
