Early Intervention Community Psychiatric Nurse – NHS Nottingham
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Rate: £27 Ltd / £21.71 PAYE (excluding holiday pay)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an Early Intervention Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join an NHS team in Nottingham.

Role Overview:
This is a full-time position within an Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) team, supporting individuals experiencing first episodes of psychosis. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering recovery-focused care, promoting early engagement, and preventing long-term mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop personalised care plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to support recovery and wellbeing
  • Monitor mental health status and medication adherence
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
  • Support patients in accessing community resources and services
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
  • Experience working in early intervention or community mental health settings
  • Strong understanding of psychosis and recovery models
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and mental health legislation
