Service Care Solution are currently recruiting for a Exit support worker in Bolton, As part of the Complex Safeguarding Team provide an efficient and effective service to children, young people and their families effected by exploitation (criminal / sexual). Main Duties:

1) To provide a purposeful, professional service to young people in need and families, including assessment and appropriate intervention, to meet their needs in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies.

2) To contribute to the planning and development of the Complex Safeguarding Team's and the Department's services to children and families affected by Exploitation, as required and as appropriate.

3) To participate in the organisation and administration of the work of the post to ensure the provision of service is completed.

4) To provide management information to assist in the setting, implementing and monitoring of the Department's strategies and services.

5) To contribute to the allocation of the work of the Team.
6) To work directly with the service users employing a range of skills, methods and techniques applicable to reduce the risk of exploitation.

7) To assess, evaluate and review programmes of work with service users, including the coordination and organisation of services both within and outside the Complex Safeguarding Team
8) To work with partner agencies and colleagues formally and informally to provide appropriate services.

9) To provide professional knowledge, ideas, advice, evaluation and information to assist in the Complex Safeguarding Teams' planning and development activities and to contribute to policies and standards.

10) To maintain appropriate records of services provided to service users in accordance with the requirements of both the personal records system and the administration system.

11) To attend meetings reviews, case conferences, core groups and review meetings providing the appropriate advice, support and reports.

12) To organise and chair child action meetings in response to Sexual /Criminal Exploitation concerns.

13) To gather information/intelligence on potentially abusive adults in order to assist Police with prosecution of offenders / exploiters

14) To undertake disruption activities in order to minimise the exploitation of children

15) To carry out duties in accordance with the Department's policy and Procedural documents

16) To participate in the supervision of their own work with the Operational Manager and to contribute to the identification and resolution of the post holder's own development and training needs.

The post holder will require a enhanced DBS and be subject to GMP vetting.
