Location: Waterside Day Service, West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm (Full-time)
Duration: 3 months+ ongoing
Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
Stoke-On-Trent City Council are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join the team at Waterside Day Service, supporting adults with multiple and complex needs in a day service setting.
Key Requirements:
- Experience providing personal care using moving and handling equipment (e.g. hoists).
- Ability to assist individuals with eating and drinking, including those with dysphasia.
- Confident in supporting people with non-verbal communication needs.
- Experience managing behaviours that may challenge.
- Comfortable working in 1:1, 2:1, or small group (1:4) support settings.
- Committed to providing consistency and continuity of care with a regular rota.
