Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Location: South East Region (Travel Required)
Umbrella £18.02
Hours: Full-time 

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to support the smooth running, maintenance, and safety of buildings, plant, equipment, and fleet across the CTPSE estate. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, practical, and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs
  • Supporting the upkeep of buildings and facilities, including H&S-related responsibilities
  • Conducting and recording statutory checks (e.g., fire alarm tests, water temperature monitoring, equipment inspections)
  • Using hand and power tools confidently and safely
  • Assisting with the maintenance of plant rooms and equipment
  • Participating in an on-call rota and travelling between multiple sites
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a facilities or building management role
  • Practical maintenance skills with confidence using hand and power tools
  • Good customer service and problem-solving skills
  • A physically fit individual – capable of manual handling, working at height, and accessing restricted areas
  • A proactive team player with a flexible attitude
  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
All necessary training, including Health & Safety and equipment use, will be provided.
