Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Family Support Worker with Trafford Council
Trafford Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Undertake Early Help assessments, planning and home visits
- Work with families in a whole-family way building on relationships with a restorative practice approach
- Work with families with mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse, neuro-diversity, and those who have experience of working with children and young people
- Ensure children and young people's voices are heard and their lived experiences understood
- Bring excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in complex situations with a determination to improve quality of life outcomes for children and young people and families
Requirements
- Candidates must have experience in Early Help assessments, planning and home visits
- Experience in working with families in a whole-family way building on relationships with a restorative practice approach
- Experience in mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse, neuro-diversity, and working with children and young people
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in complex situations with a determination to improve quality of life outcomes for children and young people and families
