Housing Adaptations Manager

Job Description

Our client, a housing association based in Sevenoaks are recruiting for an Adaptations/Enablement Manager to join their team. This is on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role is to provide the expertise for disability adaptations for new build schemes and refurbishments, liaising with Development, Architects and Developers where necessary.

Manage the work of the Enablement Service and contribute to its efficient and effective operation.

Line manage and supervise the Enablement Officers ensuring objectives are met and performance maintained to a high standard

Build and develop positive working relationships with Occupational Therapy Teams, local authorities, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure tenants receive a seamless service. Attend meetings as required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Previous experience of aids and adaptation works, you will have ideally worked for or/in conjunction with a Housing Association in a previous role.
