Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London-based local authority who are seeking a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this opportunity.

ROLE: Housing Litigation Lawyer
LOCATION: London
RATE: £35.00 to £50.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing contract

Please note that this position is hybrid and would require office attendance 2 days per week.

The Role of the Housing Litigation Lawyer

  • To manage and progress a full caseload of Housing Litigation through to completion
  • Matters will include possession claims, housing disrepair, anti-social behaviour and homelessness
  • To attend court when required to do so

The Person

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with Housing Law experience
  • Previous local authority experience would be highly desirable for this position
  • Comfortable in progressing full caseloads of complex housing matters through to completion
