We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Intensive Housing Management Worker to join our team in Oxford.
Job Summary:
As an Intensive Housing Management Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running and safety of our supported housing service. You will provide reactive support to residents, maintain a safe environment, and respond to resident enquiries. You will also liaise with external agencies and support tenancy sustainment by identifying and addressing licence breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running and safety of a supported housing service
- Provide reactive support to residents and maintain a safe environment
- Carry out Health & Safety checks in line with organisational policies and procedures
- Maintain low levels of voids and ensure timely processing of void properties
- Provide reception duties, including phone cover, visitor sign-ins, and coordination of transport
- Respond to resident enquiries and provide emotional and reactive support during crises
- Liaise with external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for residents
- Support tenancy sustainment by identifying and addressing licence breaches
- Maintain accurate reporting documentation and escalate safety concerns to senior staff
- Experience in a similar setting, or strong transferable skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations to help de-escalate conflict
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and multitasking capabilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn internal systems
- Previous experience in homelessness, substance misuse, or mental health support is desirable but not essential
- Permanent Contract
- 24 Hours Per Week, including some weekends
- Salary: £15,638 per year, plus benefits
