Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a IT analyst to work in a contact centre in the NHS on a temporary agency contract.

12.60PAYE (£15.50Ltd) an hour paid weekly via an umbrella

The post holder will be required to work on a rotational basis in providing both fixed and mobile support to the customers of the Contact Centre and must establish good working relationships with Contact Centre colleagues and amongst staff within the Trust.

They will be on dealing with a varied range of hardware/software, network enquiries and fault resolution both onsite and remotely.

This user facing role is key to the successful operation of the department. It requires excellent communication and problem solving skills, both over the telephone and face-to-face with an overriding dedication to providing a high level of customer service and professionalism at all time. They will be expected to log all incidents, obtain information and diagnostics, resolving incidents efficiently in keeping with technical processes within the target SLA response times. They will be expected to identify and respond appropriately to priority calls and use their judgement to escalate where appropriate to senior staff. They will be ITIL foundation qualified and capable of providing administrator services within various systems.

  • To operate the Trust's Service Desk systems and to efficiently manage the call life cycle from initial receipt through to resolution and closure.
  • Provide the first point of contact for customers, accurately logging all incoming incidents and requests.
  • Undertake fixed technical support duties including weekly rotations in the Contact Centre, incident logging, and incident resolution and prioritise calls according to defined Service Level as assigned by senior staff.
  • Respond flexibly and pro-actively to technical and organisational issues, identify implications for provision of IT Services for the Trust and bring these to the attention of managers.
