Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including responsive repairs, voids and planned works
- Work using your main trade, while also carrying out tasks in other trades where competent
- Plan and organise your workload to meet service deadlines and priorities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and admin teams to report on job progress or issues
- Liaise directly with tenants to arrange access and deliver a positive customer experience
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the service
- Keep your allocated vehicle clean, stocked and in good condition
- Take responsibility for the safe use and maintenance of tools, equipment and materials
- Proven experience in your primary trade (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, etc.)
- Additional skills in other trades would be an advantage
- Full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet tenant needs
