Purpose of the Role
I am representing a client based in West London, who are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join the team as a Lettings Negotiator. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating property viewings, assisting clients in finding suitable rental properties, and negotiating rental agreements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the local rental market, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Full training will be provided if successful for the role. Previous experience in this type of role is not essential. The successful candidate will have great customer service and admin experience, and a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings: Carry out property viewings in the Angel N1, Lambeth SW8, and Limehouse E14 areas of London, providing detailed information about the properties and addressing any queries from potential tenants.
- Client management: Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants, understanding their requirements and providing professional advice and guidance throughout the letting process.
- Negotiate rental agreements: Facilitate negotiations between landlords and tenants, ensuring that both parties reach mutually beneficial rental agreements in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Property marketing: Assist in creating attractive property listings and marketing materials to attract prospective tenants, ensuring accurate and appealing property descriptions and high-quality photographs.
- Market research: Stay up to date with the local rental market trends, pricing, and regulations to provide accurate and informed advice to clients and achieve competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Requirements
- Experience working in a customer service/admin role, preferably within the housing/property sector
- Knowledge of the London rental market, particularly in the Angel N1, Lambeth SW8, and Limehouse E14 areas. Essential you are willing and able to travel across 3 destinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
