We are seeking a dedicated LiveSmart Manager for a leading Housing Association in Buntingford, Hertfordshire. This role is perfect for someone with facilities management experience who is committed to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of residents in sheltered housing.
THE ROLE
As a LiveSmart Manager, your main responsibility is to oversee the safety and security of the property and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Serve as the key-holder for the building, managing security and access.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors.
- Facilitate repairs and maintenance in communal areas.
- Oversee the management and monitoring of laundry facilities and communal spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance and security issues.
- Carry out testing of emergency lighting and fire-fighting equipment.
- Manage health and safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the housing sector. You will also need:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures.
- Experience working with older people or in a service-based role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
THE CONTRACT
- 35 Hours Per Week, 09:00 to 17:00
- 12 Weeks, Temp to Perm
