Job description: I am currently looking to fill a Probation Support Officer vacancy in the Devon area to work in an offender management team within the CRC.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with other service staff and partner agencies to assess the service users and deliver appropriate interventions to reduce the risk of reoffending. This position is as part of the 'In-Touch' team, working with low risk service users so effective communication via phone will be essential.
The position is available immediately and will be on a full time basis (37 hours per week). The position is initially available for a 3-month contract, and pays £15-£18 limited per hour, dependent on experience. Please be aware that it is highly likely this contract will be extended.

The successful candidate MUST have…
-Recent experience working as a Probation Service Officer in either a CRC or NPS environment
-Up to date training using Oasys
-Up to date training using N Delius
-Experience working with offender's/ service users
-A clean, enhanced DBS dated in the last 3 years
-Proof of right to work in the UK
-A professional phone manner
Desirable would be…
-An NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Probation
-Any additional probation related qualifications such as programme facilitating
