Working with one of our established clients, Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a highly experienced Principle Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to work at a medium/low secure service and 2 Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU's), for men and women who suffer from mental health issues.

Principle Clinical/Forensic Psychologist
Location: Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19
Salary: up to £60,000 DOE + £250 Welcome Bonus
Contract: Permanent | Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the delivery of strategic and clinical strategies to grow and further develop the care pathway through specialist Psychological Advice and Consultations.
  • You will work alongside the Multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programs for males/females with mental illness/complex care needs as well as those with personality disorders
  • Deputising for the Lead Psychologist in their absence
  • Taking a key role in service development
  • Line management of specified team members
  • Providing robust clinical supervision and support in appraisals and in the professional development of the team
  • Providing evidence based psychological assessment
  • Contributing to the audit and research as directed by the line manager

Necessary:

  • HCPC Registration
  • BPS Accredited and HCPC approved Doctorate
  • Eligible for Chartered Membership of the BPS
  • Post-Doctoral level knowledge and application of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis.
