Registered Manager - Children's Home

Service Care Solutions looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced individual, who has the appropriate skills to set up and lead their new children's home through to Ofsted registration and take on the role of Registered Manager.

Warwickshire County Council have recently opened their first children's home since 1983, they have just opened a second home and are now wanting to commence on their third project - a multi build in Leamington Spa. It is a two-bed and a four-bed home for children on one site. This is an exciting time for WCC Children's Services and you could be a key part in developing this new area of their service.

Hours: Full time

Location: Warwickshire

Pay: Up to £50,000 depending on experience

Main Responsibilities:

  • Registered managers will ensure that the young people's needs are recognised and met. This includes ensuring that they are free from discrimination within the home and to challenge discrimination from outside the home.
  • Registered managers will manage the home in compliance with Ofsted, legislation, and the ethos and policies of the company.
  • Registered Managers oversee and participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the individual young people's care plans.

What We Require From a Registered Manager

  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
  • NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
  • A "Good" or "Outstanding" grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections and experience of working with Ofsted during an inspection
