🌟 Make a Difference Where It Matters Most Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive? A newly established children’s residential home in Uxbridge is looking for compassionate, dedicated Residential Support Worker to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a home that prioritises individualised care, therapeutic support, and a family-style environment for children and young people aged 11–17.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to children in line with their placement plans
- Support children to develop positive routines, participate in activities, and build life skills
- Promote educational attainment, attend meetings, and assist with homework or learning-based activities
- Ensure the home environment promotes well-being, fairness, and respect, free from bullying or prejudice
- Work with children on managing trauma, emotions, and conflict, following therapeutic care plans
- Promote dignity, respect, and consistency in every interaction
- Maintain accurate and confidential records and documentation
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
- Experience supporting vulnerable or troubled children
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Committed to safeguarding, emotional support, and providing structure and stability
