Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are recruiting for an Employment Lawyer on a locum basis. Please see below further details about this position and the person.

ROLE: Senior Employment Lawyer
LOCATION: East London
RATE: £45.00 to £50.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing, 35 hours per week

The Role

• To manage and progress full caseloads of matters related to Employment Law matters through to completion
• Matters will include cases such as tribunals, TUPE, unfair dismissals and discrimination claims
• To undertake some of your own advocacy when required to do so

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 2 years' PQE
• Previous experience in progressing full caseloads of Employment Law matters through to completion is essential
• Previous working experience within a public authority would be highly beneficial
