Our client, a local authority based in Shefford, Bedfordshire are looking for a Senior Environmental Health Officer to join their team. This is on a temporary contract basis.

The purpose of the role is to:

• Act of point of contact for Environmental matters - Food, Pollution, Waste etc.

• Conduct inspections of premises

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

A degree/HND/NEBOSH or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.

Previous experience of Environmental Health required - EHRB/CIEH or Environmental Health degree required.
