Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Service Director for Commissioning in Cambridgeshire.

As a Service Director, you will be taking a leadership role and working in close partnership across the Health and Social Care System, this post incorporates responsibilities relating to quality and commissioning of social care and people services for children, young people, individual adults and their families and carers.

Main Responsibilities

As a Service Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Commissioning Adult services, including Older People, Carers, Sensory Impairment, Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health.
  • Commissioning Children's services, including Health and Wellbeing, complex Educational needs, Community Health, Healthy Child Programme, School Nursing, Health Visiting
  • Commissioning Early Help services and integrated Processes for children and young people and adults.
  • Market management, sustainability, development, procurement, contract and performance management
  • Ensuring services are designed, optimised and delivered to improve outcomes in a financially sustainable way whilst fulfilling statutory duties.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to Post Degree level
  • Thorough understanding of the Commissioning & processes (Commissioning Academy)
  • Enhanced DBS
