Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS is essential.
About Us:
We are seeking a dedicated Sheltered Housing Manager to join our team in Camden. Our primary mission is to promote, encourage, and support the continued independence and well-being of sheltered housing tenants. In this role, you will monitor, enable, and meet the necessary support needs of tenants. The Sheltered Housing Manager will assess, review, and respond to the ongoing support needs of sheltered housing tenants and develop constructive relationships with tenants, carers, partners, service providers, and the wider community involved with the sheltered scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
Independence and Well-being: Promote and encourage the continued independence and well-being of sheltered housing tenants.
Support Needs: Monitor, enable, and address the necessary support needs of tenants.
Assessment and Review: Assess, review, and respond to ongoing support needs of sheltered housing tenants appropriately.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain constructive relationships with sheltered tenants, carers, partners, service providers, and the wider community involved with the sheltered scheme.
Flexibility: Work flexibly to adjust workloads to meet individual work targets and the priority demands of the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Compassion and empathy for individuals facing housing and support challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of support services and the needs of sheltered housing tenants.
- Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
