Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a social worker with overseas experience to join a supportive local authority in south Wales on a permanent basis. You will need to have previous experience of working within a children's social work environment as the vacancy is within a front line child protection team where you will be working to help families in a purposeful way and manage risk confidently. You would work with families on a long term plan, looking to utilise all parts of their networks to minimise risk to children and build resilience. You would be involved in all aspects of work, including planning and review for children receiving care and support as well as those with a child protection plan, or until court proceedings conclude.

For this particular role you do not need to have had previous experience of working in the United Kingdom as a social worker so do not be put off by that - as long as you have had experience of working as a qualified social worker then we want to hear from you!

Alongside having a social work degree there are a few other requirements that you will need to meet which include:

1. Degree in Social Work
2. Previous experience working as a children's social worker in any service (length of time since last role doesn't matter!)
3. The right to work in the UK
4. Registration, or in the process of becoming registered, with Social Care Wales or Social Work England 5. Full Driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
