Job Description

We are currently seeking a Support Worker to join the Supported Living service in Sunderland. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals with varying needs. The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a core rota and must be available to work day shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to make a difference in people's lives and join a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with varying needs
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support individuals with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Encourage and promote independence and choice
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the service

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and compassionate nature
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work day shifts
