Job Title - Childrens Safeguarding Social Worker
Pay Rate - £35 per hour
Start Date - Immediate availability
Location - Various areas around Wakefield

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and protection of children in our community. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify potential risks and develop intervention plans.
  2. Collaborating with various professionals, such as educators, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to create a comprehensive support network.
  3. Implementing and monitoring child protection plans, making necessary adjustments based on ongoing assessments.
  4. Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families in crisis.
  5. Collaborating with legal authorities and attending court hearings when required.

Tasks:

  1. Assessment and Planning: Conducting detailed assessments to understand the needs of children and families and developing effective intervention plans.

  2. Case Management: Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring regular monitoring and reassessment.

  3. Collaboration: Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.

  4. Advocacy: Advocating for the best interests of children within the legal system and social services network.

  5. Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate support in crisis situations and developing safety plans.

What is required?

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Relevant experience in working in Childrens Service
  • At least 2 years post qualifying experience
  • Full U.K driving licence - essential **
  • Clean DBS in date or on the update service

Working as a Qualified Social Worker with Service Care Solutions

  • £150 after 4 weeks in an assignment if you have no previously worked with us
  • £250 for every Qualified Social Worker you refer over to us
  • £150 to you for sourcing your own job and referring it to Service Care Solutions
  • We will pay up to £250 each year to help with your Continuing Professional Development
  • We will pay a "thank you" bonus to you after each 12-month period you complete with Service Care Solutions
