Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Children's Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and protection of children in our community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify potential risks and develop intervention plans.
- Collaborating with various professionals, such as educators, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to create a comprehensive support network.
- Implementing and monitoring child protection plans, making necessary adjustments based on ongoing assessments.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to children and families in crisis.
- Collaborating with legal authorities and attending court hearings when required.
Assessment and Planning: Conducting detailed assessments to understand the needs of children and families and developing effective intervention plans.
Case Management: Managing a caseload of children and families, ensuring regular monitoring and reassessment.
Collaboration: Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and law enforcement, to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.
Advocacy: Advocating for the best interests of children within the legal system and social services network.
Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate support in crisis situations and developing safety plans.
What is required?
- Social Work Qualification
- Relevant experience in working in Childrens Service
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience
- Full U.K driving licence - essential **
- Clean DBS in date or on the update service

Working as a Qualified Social Worker with Service Care Solutions
- £150 after 4 weeks in an assignment if you have no previously worked with us
- £250 for every Qualified Social Worker you refer over to us
- £150 to you for sourcing your own job and referring it to Service Care Solutions
- We will pay up to £250 each year to help with your Continuing Professional Development
- We will pay a "thank you" bonus to you after each 12-month period you complete with Service Care Solutions
