Senior Social Worker - Intervention & Planning

Job Description

The company is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner to join their Intervention & Planning team. The team focuses on Court Work, Child in Need, and Child Protection cases, and the ideal candidate should have prior experience working in similar teams. This is a temporary position with a pay rate of up to £38.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality services to children and families in need
• Assess, plan, and implement care plans for children and young people
• Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people
• Attend court hearings and give evidence when required
• Manage a complex caseload and ensure that all cases are progressed in a timely manner

Requirements

• A recognised Social Work qualification
• Registration with Social Work England
• Prior experience in Court Work, Child in Need, and Child Protection teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
