Support Worker
Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Support Worker in Haringey.
The Support Worker will support the basic needs of people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in line with their support plans and guidelines
This is a part time position working 30 hours a week.
Pay rate - 12.27 per hour / £15 umbrella
Main Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- To ensure high levels of dignity are maintained whilst supporting people to eat, drink, have personal care and any other support needs met in line with the guidelines provided.
- To follow the eating and drinking guidelines for each individual carefully and report any concerns immediately to the therapy coordinator.
- To Support and Maintain people's physical wellbeing through good manual handling practices,
- To Maintain peoples physical welfare by following all OT and Physiotherapy guidelines and supporting the OT and Physio Coordinators to deliver therapeutic movement sessions.
- Work alongside the Therapy Coordinator to continue to develop your own creative communication skills with people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS
- Experience in similar role
- Be flexible and willing to work across services
