Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Worker in Bedford
As a Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Worker, you will be responsible for working with children and adults with visual impairments across Bedford Borough and Central Beds. The successful candidate will be qualified in delivering mobility training.
Main Responsibilities
As a Visual Impairment Rehabilitation Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver mobility training to children and adults with visual impairments
- Assess the needs of individuals and develop appropriate rehabilitation plans
- Support individuals with daily living skills and provide emotional support
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies
- Provide advice and guidance to families and carers
Requirements:
- Qualification in delivering mobility training
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS
