A client within the Public Sector based in Berkshire is currently recruiting for an Electrical Operations Supervisor to join their Commercial Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing or compliance environment.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery of all electrical works across the housing stock, ensuring safe working practices, compliance with technical standards, and high-quality outcomes. The role will involve managing a team of electrical professionals, acting as a Qualified Supervisor (QS), and embedding a customer-centric approach to service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Managing and overseeing electrical installations, responsive repairs, and planned works including inspection & testing, heating installations, and rewires.
• Acting as Qualified Supervisor (QS), reviewing and signing off electrical certification.
• Recording and validating inspection and testing results, ensuring compliance with NICEIC standards.
• Monitoring team performance and productivity, providing training and support where required.
• Ensuring compliance with BS7671 and all health & safety policies and procedures.
• Leading on customer service excellence, resolving feedback and complaints effectively.
• Deputising for the Senior Electrical Operations Manager where required.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work (or approved equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.
• Experience as a Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC, NAPIT, or equivalent).
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Strong supervisory or managerial experience within electrical works.
• Experience in social housing or public sector environments.
• Full driving licence with access to own vehicle.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £49,675 p/a + comprehensive benefits.
